Habitat for Humanity
of Mid-Ohio

In March 2020 we began the evaluation of a potential rehabilitation project with Habitat for Humanity MidOhio on Genessee Avenue just before the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic brought the Stay-at-Home orders from the Ohio governor. During the ensuing months, the property was purchased by Habitat MidOhio for rehabilitation, and Hilliard Adopt-A-House committed to the project with a $30,000 grant to Habitat MidOhio. We originally planned to start in June, but the Stay-at-Home orders prevented that. Our official start became July 11th. Due to Habitat MidOhio's COVID-19 protocol, we were limited to ten on site volunteers at a time while we were working outside. Once we began working inside, their protocol limited us to four volunteers per work day, so we increased the number of days we worked each week. On February 9th, Habitat MidOhio increased our limit to six volunteers per work day.

The photos below are from Saturday, March 27, 2021 when the house was dedicated as the Muse family home!
