September was a terrific month! It began with completion of the first floor walls at the warehouse and delivery to the home site. The basement stairs were installed, the first floor walls were raised, and we held the Wall Raising Ceremony. On Community Care Day NiSource (a.k.a., Columbia Gas) volunteers joined us for a day to help with the second floor deck and begin second floor wall construction, and then volunteers from Congresswoman Deborah Pryce's office joined us to build and raise second floor walls. Work continued at the end of the month to complete the second floor and prep for roof trusses.
