Progress continued in July as follows:
- July 2, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House shingled two-thirds of the roof, hung the first two rows of insulation board, finished the hurricane clips and raised the front porch trusses.
- July 6, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House raised and sheathed the porch trusses, hung more insulation board and cleaned up the second floor.
- July 9, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House hung insulation boards on the second floor walls and shingled the main and front porch roofs.
- July 13, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House put in the main stairs, cut out the door thresholds, hung insulation board, taped insulation board seams, laid felt paper on rear porch roof, hung exterior doors, and hung all but two windows.
- July 15, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House laid out garage plates.
- July 16, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House finished the insulation boards and taped all seams, shingled the rear porch roof, built and raised the garage walls, hung the remaining windows, finished dead wood, wrapped the porch beams, and QA'ed house wall nailing.
- July 20, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House built the basement shelves, put on the garage cap plates, prepared and raised the garage roof trusses, and installed the garage hurricane clips.
- July 23, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House started the porch aluminum and porch posts wrap, sheathed the garage roof, and shingled one-third of the garage roof.
- July 27, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House installed the car garage door, hung the garage entrance door, cleaned the house, put in the baffles, built the second floor half-wall, put up the cattle rails and put in deadwood for the basement stairwell drywall.
- July 30, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House completed the garage roof, put up the garage door aluminum and brick mold, installed the garage door lock, put up garage returns, started the garage facia alumnimum, and put up the garage soffit.
