Progress continued in September as follows:
- September 1, 2005 - Some unaffiliated mystery group showed up and poorly hung a little drywall.
- September 3, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House finished the vinyl siding, replaced the bedroom window that had been damaged by the drywall delivery personnel, replaced the drywall that had been poorly hung by the mystery group and hung drywall until we ran out of material.
- September 5, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House finished the drywall hanging.
- September 7, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House hung fascia aluminum.
- September 10, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House finished fascia aluminum.
- September 14, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House led NiSource volunteers priming the interior as well as putting on the first coat of interior paint.
- September 17, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House painted porch posts, caulked porch posts' tops, and finished garage fascia aluminum.
- September 21, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House finished painting the interior, hung porch railings, installed the whole house fan, hung interior doors, painted the basement stairs, and laid luan.
- September 24, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House finished porch railings, finished luan, made vinyl patterns, stained hand rails, trimmed doors and laid baseboard.
- September 26, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House cut linoleum.
- September 27, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House laid kitchen linoleum.
- September 28, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House laid bathroom linoleum, hung doors, trimmed doors, cleaned window frames, puttied porch railings, touched up the ceiling and put a final coat of paint on basement stairs.
- September 29 & 30, 2005 - Ron Danals made and stained window sills.
