Progress continued in August as follows:
- August 3, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House completed the baffles, built the attic access frame, QA'ed joist hangers, and built the master bedroom storage closet.
- August 4, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House hung vinyl corner posts, vinyl starter strips and J-channels.
- August 6, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House hung all vinyl siding on the garage and began hanging vinyl siding on the house.
- August 10, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House hung vinyl siding on the north wall, the front porch and the south kitchen wall.
- August 13, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House insulated the home and continued hanging vinyl siding.
- August 17, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House hung returns, vinyl corner posts, and J-channels.
- August 20, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House hung vinyl siding, put up F-channels and hung soffit.
- August 24, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House cleaned the vinyl siding marred by the "professionals" next door, hung vinyl siding and soffit, and polyurethaned the stairs.
- August 27, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House almost completed vinyl siding and soffits, began fascia aluminum, began hanging drywall, wrapped the rear porch posts, and began porch railings.
- August 30, 2005 - The "Tuesday Group" of HFH-GC hung drywall in the living room, the kitchen pantry, and part of one bedroom.
- August 31, 2005 - Hilliard Adopt-A-House completed hanging drywall except for the MBR closets, the kitchen, the downstairs hall and the basement stairway.
